Nowra - Shoalhaven South Coast

Nowra is the commercial hub of the Shoalhaven. Established on Shoalhaven River, west of Shoalhaven Heads, Nowra derived its name from the aboriginal word for Black Cockatoo. Nowra has a vast array of services, shopping centres, restaurants, cafes and fast food outlets.

In terms of accommodation, there are plenty of options from luxury apartments, hotels, motels, units, caravan parks to camping. Nowra is a great place to base yourself while exploring the Shoalhaven.
